Life on the Central Coast
Our homes are nestled in The Peninsula — a peaceful, close-knit community at the southern tip of the NSW Central Coast. Surrounded by waterways, national parks, and the gentle pace of coastal life, it's a setting that naturally supports wellbeing.
Residents have easy access to the beach, local shops, cafés, and community events. The The Peninsula waterfront and Brisbane Water are right on the doorstep — perfect for morning walks, fishing, or simply sitting in the sun.
Our Person-Centred Approach
Great care starts with listening. We take the time to understand each person's story, goals, and preferences — then build support around that.
Getting to Know You
Before anything else, we sit down with the resident, their family, and support coordinator to understand who they are — what they love, what they find challenging, and what a good life looks like to them.
Building Your Plan
Together we co-design a support plan that maps out daily routines, personal goals, and the specific types of support that will help the resident live as independently and fully as possible.
Matching the Right Team
We carefully match residents with support workers who share their interests and communicate in ways that work for them — consistency and genuine connection are non-negotiable.
Continuous Review
Life changes — and so should support. We hold regular check-ins with residents and families to review progress, celebrate wins, and adjust plans so they always reflect what matters now.
"What matters most to us is that the people in our homes feel genuinely safe, genuinely seen, and genuinely free to live their lives on their own terms."
— The Safe Haven SLC Team
Understanding Your NDIS Pathway
Navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming. Our team is here to help make the pathway to supported living as clear and straightforward as possible.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Our services are funded under the Supported Independent Living category of NDIS plans. SIL funding covers the cost of supports in a shared or individual residential setting.
Talk to Your Support Coordinator
If you have a Support Coordinator or Local Area Coordinator (LAC), they can help explore whether a residential support option like ours is appropriate for your plan goals.
Contact Us for a Vacancy Chat
Reach out to our team directly to discuss current or upcoming vacancies, arrange an introductory visit, and ask any questions about how our homes operate.
Trial & Transition Support
Moving into a new home is a big step. We offer gradual transition support and trial stays to ensure the fit is right for the resident before any permanent arrangement begins.
Safe Haven SLC is a registered NDIS provider. We work with participants, families, and support coordinators to ensure all supports are delivered in accordance with the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
Let's Start a Conversation
Whether you're a prospective resident, a family member, or a support coordinator, we'd love to hear from you. No question is too small.
